Where will
the Interviews be aired?
All interviews
will be aired on iRADIO LA and simulcast on the Indie Music Network, 1.fm,
Jetcast, Shoutcast, Mobile Broadcast Network, Nokia, Spacial Audio and the Audio
Realm Networks.
iRADIO LA has over 250,000 listeners per day.
How are
interviews/conferences conducted?
By phone or
skype. If you haven’t used skype, we can help you install it for free, and go
from there. If we use the phone, we pick up the charges for long distance calls.
How will you
get more information about our band?
Once you have
selected and pre-paid for your package(s), you will receive a form to fill out,
which will answer most of the questions we will have about you.
How will you
review our music before the interview?
With your
package, you will be given a code to upload your songs, and Mark and Carmen will
both review your music.
Who conducts
the conferences/interviews?
Mark and Carmen
will both be on hand to talk with you about your music and answer your
questions.
Can our
entire band be in the interview or on Indie Music Talk?
Yes, all band
members can get in on the action, providing all members are in one location, and
can avoid talking all at once! We will work out the details with you and see
what’s best for you.
How many
members can be in on the Phone Conference?
We limit the
conferences to one or two members of the band in order to cover as much
territory as possible. You can always have other members write down
their questions before or during the conference.
Is our
program edited?
We will edit
Indie Music Talk and the Radio Interview for airplay. Phone Conferences
will not be edited and will be delivered ‘as is’ to you via mp3.
Who picks
out the music for our show?
That’s a toss
up! We can do it, or you can choose your own songs. Please keep in mind that
we will only play ‘radio edit’ songs, so no ‘F Bombs’ etc., allowed.
How long
will it take to get our show on the air?
Normally about
2 weeks, after the show has been recorded and edited. We want to make the
program sound like a billion bucks, and will then email you with the schedule of
broadcasts.
How long
does it take to record Indie Music Talk?
We’ll spend
about an hour recording the talk portion, and should have plenty of good stuff
for your one-hour show. Music will be dropped in during the editing process,
and will usually cover about 15 minutes of the program. The Radio Interview
will take about thirty minutes for the talk portion. Phone Conferences will not
be edited, and what you hear is what you get!
Can we use
our interview on other stations/broadcasts?
Absolutely.
You own the rights to the program and can stream it from your Website, post it
on your myspace, and market it to the world. Get it out there!
What is the
biggest benefit in booking on Indie Music Talk?
Just for
starters, your band will literally own 4 hours of iRADIO LA during the month of
your broadcast. Use it to your advantage. We have a really big audience that
loves independent music, and would like to know more about all you great
unsigned artists. Look at it like this, if you were to buy a 1 minute ad on a
commercial radio station in a major market, it could easily cost you over
$1000.00.
